Masindi PDM foot soldiers receive tablets

The Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Masindi Darius Nandinda,has urged the Parish Development Model (PDM)implementers to use the tablets for enhancing the strategy among the communities as one way of eradicating poverty.
Darius delivered his message on Friday this week, during aPDM meeting held at the district headquarters where he officiated the giving out of 108 tablets .
The tablets were recently received from the Ministry of Local Government purposely to enhance PDM implementation.
Those who got tablets among others were,Parish Chiefs who got 46 tablets while the PDM SACCO Chairpersons also received 46 tablets,the CDOs got 14 tablets while the Information Technology Officer (ITO)and the Statistician each received one tablet.
Speaking in the same meeting,the District Chairperson Cosmas Byaruhanga, rallied Parish Chiefs to exercise patriotism in the execution of thier core mandates so that they cause a positive change in society.
He also advised the Parish Chiefs to use the tablets for collecting parish data.
On her part,the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Masindi, Tappy Namulondo cautioned those who received the PDM gadgets against losing them since all are accountable for any loss of the tablet.
She stressed that,the tablets are a property of the district.
