Beyond these projects, Kaija said government has developed a comprehensive master plan to renovate Masindi General Hospital once the staff housing and OPD projects are completed, signaling a phased but sustained approach to improving health infrastructure.
The Acting District Health Officer (Ag.DHO),Dr.Felix Twinomugisha Rwehururu, credited internal reforms for the improved performance of the hospital, noting that key changes implemented during his tenure as Medical Superintendent enhanced service delivery.
He challenged health workers to maintain teamwork and commitment, particularly in efforts to eliminate maternal deaths.
Hospital Board Chairperson,John Bagada Winter, said the current board has worked to restore order and accountability at the facility, laying a stronger foundation for better service delivery.
